I M THINKING ABOUT BUYING A 1985 CORVETTE. 68K MILES FOR ABOUT $5500. gOOD DEAL? gOOD CAR? WHAT SAY YOU?

Ok Im looking at a mazda cx7 for $32065... Has everything I want except for the front windows being tinted.

Do you think I'd be getting a good deal if I were to buy that for $32065 on the conditions that: they include the price to tint the front windows in the $32065... AND they include the tax and any fees in that $32065?
In otherwords, I'd pay $32065 flat out and nothing more for taxes or window tinting.

Opinions appreciated... advice also highly encouraged that would help me even better. Like do you think I could do better?

This is not the only deciding factor of whom i buy from it also is dependent on who gives me the most money for my trade. (I don't want to fuss around with selling my present car). Any financing I need I will be acquiring on my own as the dealer will not be allowed to run any credit checks on me.

I know what I want and will walk away from anyone who pushes me to buy any other car or holds my keys ransom or pressures me in any way.

No fuel is making it's way to the carb. It turns over great...but there is no smell or feel of gas in the carb.
Could a fuel filter harden to the point that it will completely block the gas entering the carb...or is it the fuel pump

I bought a kobalt electric air compressor 5 gallon. I turn it on I hear noise but the guage needles dont move it only has one knob and two guage needles the knob is turn all the way to the right. how long does a air compressor take to fill and why the needles dont move I left it on for thirty minutes and no pressure. please tell me what am I doing wrong?

i have a 2001 chevy suburban with the bose system, I know it has a 8" sub at the back, i was wondering how to take it off ? also does it have the 4x10 speaker in the back too ? i saw some air holes but its cover by a piece of cloth. Does anyone have detailed instructions on how to take the sub out ?

I have a 2002 WS6 Trans Am w/6speed tranny, 6th gear is out and it seems 5th is starting to go, I was told the sincros are bad, Could this have happened if the car was tower improperly?

Ok, I start my car at work and it shakes badly while ideling. I get home and turn it off. About an hour later I try to start it and I get such a weak effort from my engine that it wont start. It turns over but it never stabalizes. I thought I had flooded the engine, but I waited another hour and it still did the same thing...It's a 1993 GMC sanoma with about 45,000 miles.

I have a 1990 Dodge caravan, that is starting to have a lot of things needing repaired. I have a leak in radiator, and water pump. I recently got a stickshift car (2001 Altima) I know how to drive it, and I know the fundamentals of driving a manual transmission car (downshifting, engine breaking, double clutching etc.). I have one problem though, when I am in first gear, and shift into second gear the car kind of slows down, it isn't violent or anything, but I would like the shift to be a little smoother. If I want to accelerate really fast, it slows me down. I don't what the problem is, is it me? Maybe I'm not shifting fast enough, but I do shift pretty fast. Is it the car? I don't know every thing is fine with the car. Please help.

I'm getting ready to buy an 05 Pontiac GTO.And have asked alot of questions on here about them.But one question I haven't asked is..What problems have been reported reguarding the GTO.I heard things such as the steering failing and also failing front struts,power seats going out and radios dieing.I've heard from a friend of a friend that his GTO was garaged for a month waiting on parts to be imported! I really don't want to experience anything like these problems and would like to know if they are frequent and common among GTO's.Thanks!

I have a 1997 Acura 1.6 EL..approx 241 000kms on it. The thermostat that tells me if engine is too hot or cold started acting up. I changed the thermostat. Still same prob though. When I idle (like in a fast food drive thru) or when I go up a steep hill (like at an apartment walk up; my thermostat meter goes up to just below the 'H'. As soon as I drive again the meter goes back to the middle where it should be. In the summer I drove for 2 hrs & my meter was fine until I got stuck in traffic and had to stop and the meter rose to just below the 'H' again,when I drove it went back down. No smoke coming from engine at all. Does anyone know what the prob could be? Some people said possibly an oil leak or I need a new Head gasket? I already had the water pump & timing belt changed at 200 000kms, and I already had the rad pressure tested & it was fine. I even changed the small rad metal cover but I still have same prob. Pls help, no one seems to know whats wrong with my car.

when it gets warm makes nose when driving or idle. it inline 6 with 4speed andsounds like vaccum leak. back of motor?4speed shifts and dont seem like any clutch problems.
