Unless you are experiencing a difficult issue, or the car has very high city miles, don't waste your money. Everything you can buy (STP, Techron, Berryman's etc) is already in the fuel you buy.
If you are experiencing an issue, try the Techron or something similar. But don't be surprised if it doesn't solve your problem.
The only injector cleaner that really does the job is a machine at a professional repair shop that specializes in this sort of service. Expect to pay $75.00 to $150.00.
BTW— those injectors are known headaches, and many shops merely replace them with a Bosch replacement.
Happy Motoring

STP fuel injector/system cleaner (or similar...whatever attendant recommends) from Napa or wherever in a full tank of Premium fuel. If your car is in sound mechanical condition proceed to accelerate quickly...perhaps to the floor a few times in a safe place. You need to get the flow of fuel to the engine going pretty fast...rpm high...then the high pressure blasts clean with the help of the additive, and there you go.

There are a lot of people making fuel injector cleaners. STP is one that comes to mind. A lot of the gas stations already put in cleaners as an additive to their gas too.

STP makes a couple different additives. They're usually available at any gas station on the automotive shelf along with things like oil and coolant.
I've used them before and can't say whether they're worth it or not. Of course, who really truly knows if their injectors are that dirty anyway...might just be a gimmick or a peace of mind thing.

no longer something rather, it would sluggish a motor vehicle down reckoning on how plenty is interior the tank, yet its no longer likely. there's a exhibit screen ingredient (think of of it as an exceedingly small strainer) on the tip of a gas pump that forestalls maximum larger products from getting sucked into the gas device and secondly, there's a gas filter out that, in concept, cleans out what the little exhibit screen did no longer. it is greater annoying than the rest because of the fact ultimately, you're able to drop the gas tank and unload it out, inspite of the undeniable fact that it won't destory an engine.

STP makes it and there are a ton of very good products on the market. check your local autoparts store and ask the sales-person to recommend one and how to use it properly.
