Cars & Transportation - 16 March 2007

Last night while I was driving, my car just shut off (of course it was raining). When I tried to start the car again, it wouldn't even turn over. However the lights, radio and my daughters DVD player were still working. I am way way overdue for an oil change. I'm not sure if it is an engine problem since the check engine light did NOT go on, nor was there any smoke coming from under the hood and my temp gauge didn't show any overheating. Anyone know what might cause this? I have a 2002 Santa Fe with 50k miles on it ... any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I have a 350 motor with a 60 over bore and I recently found out I needed a crankshaft with a longer stroke to make it a 383 stroker. Now all I need to know is where I can find a crankshaft online. I have this bike, but truly how fast does it actually go. I was thinking of getting another bike, but the insurance on this is pretty affordable, but I'd prefer a sportbike. I was looking to see how much speed difference does it make.

I know that torque wrenches are supposed to allow you to tighten nuts and bolts to certain tightness (torque) - for example some bolts on a car need to be tightened to a set specific torque.

I've got a 1/4 - 3/8 torque wrench set... looking at it for the first time.... what bit of it shows the reading of torque... cause I just can't understand it.

A heard that there is a small car with a speed limit that can be driven without driving licence..Is that true?For what age can you drive it?How many places does the car has , and which is the speed limit?
And how much does it cost..Are there also cars like this having a ''ceiling''that can be ''removed''?I mean ..withdrawn...you know..to feel the air..
