91 has new engine with 5 yr war. new tranny with 3 yr war., new suspension with poly-u bushings, brake upgrades. have spent aprox $22,000, still needs paint

400 hp LS-2 engine 6 speed manual says it all. My 2006 GTO gets 14 mpg in town and 24.5 mpg on the highway. 16 year old cars may break at any time. Your trade keep it I wish I had all of my old cars back.

I would not do it. You can buy the brake up grades for your 91. as far as the engine is concerned there is really no difference in them. The only differences between the are the 09 will have a wider diameter fuel injector, a 6 speed transmission, and an upgraded suspension. For the price they are asking for you can upgrade you 91 for less than the price difference of the 2 cars. I have a friend that is working on the new camaro project and that is what he has told me about the car so far.
