I have a 2001 Ford Mustang.. When I hit about 30 to 40 mph it starts to miss... It like jerks once or twice. What does this mean? I have an appointment today to get it looked at but Im just curious to know now..

let us know what it was im betting on a fuel filter or pluged injector

I had an '89 Thunderbird that did this. The mechanic looked at it, said it had to do with the fuel injectors being clogged. Nobody ever got it fixed right, however and I ended up trading it in

could be a number of problems electrical,vacuum,fuel line,fuel pump,timing,spark plug,take it in for diagnostic check up.

its called a hard shift,
something got a little torn up in your transmission.

It's a Ford.....
You might need a tune-up; Timing belt .....
