I have a 1990 Dodge caravan, that is starting to have a lot of things needing repaired. I have a leak in radiator, and water pump. I was wondering if I put stop leak in it would that fix it for awhile? with all the things it needs, I am currently looking for another vehicle, but trying to keep it running as long as I can. It has 172,000 miles

If the pump is leaking it will have to be replaced, The leak stop stuff might plug the radiator and ruin the engine. She has about all the miles you can put on her it's time for the retiremnet home for her.

Stop leak won't help the water pump, and it depends on where the leak is and how bad it is in the radiator. It might, but usually only until you get to a place where you can be stranded seriously.

I'd seriously consider getting rid of it because early 90s Caravans, although pretty good vehicles, had transmissions that would go at the drop of a hat. Mine went at 65,000. You don't want to spend a lot of mney only to face a $2000 tranny repair a month later.
