most speedos show both, try holding the botton down for 5 seconds

Press and hold the select and reset buttons together for 2 seconds and the display will switch.

If this doesn't work either the button/s are faulty or you have a Canadian model.

Turn on the key
Press the select button for at least one second.
The select button is the one in the front that sticks out the furthest.
