someone hit my friends car going 50 on a residental street. she was pulling out of the driveway and the other guy was yelling at someone out the window. he t-boned her and tried 2 drive away, he couldn't and then she found out that he has no drivers licence, no insurance, ( no assets either.. ) and the car was not registered in his name.. she called the police and filled the paperwork, but if he cant pay.. what happens?

I was involved in a minor car accident. Both of us were backing out of driveways and hit center of the road (officer agreed with this). The police came after we moved our cars. The officer indicated it appeared to be both our faults, several times. The officer went to her car and the other driver spoke to her. The officer did not speak to me alone. The officer ended up citing me and she indicated I was just a little bit more wrong. I had no complaint at that time as I thought she would know. Today I received the accident report and found out the other driver lied about her vehicle position and in the diagram the officer drew her car in a position it was not in, making it appear to be my fault. Is there anything I can do to change this? Is my only option court? I hate to spend more money on an attorney than the fine would be. Thank you in advance!!

I have a guy coming in a few days to buy my pick-up and I know I have to take the tags off before he comes and turn them into my local DMV, but what else? Do I have to mail the registration card in as well to let the DMV know the truck has been sold? Anything else?

Today I was backing out of my garage driving a pickup truck, well the garage door wasnt opened up all the way and the roof of the truck hit the garage door and bent it all out of wack plus the dents in the back of the truck. Would this fall under my auto or homeowners policy?

I have a 95 Camaro with a dead 3.4 that has already been jerked. I'm building a carburated 350 that should have over 400 lbs. ft. of torque and the stock Camaro T-5 is not rated for that. I've also ripped out the PCM, so I'm guessing I'll have to install a new speedometer. T-56 are a hot item and are selling used for $1000 and up, and I don't know if I can use my speedo without the PCM anyways. I just want an overdrive stick shift but don't want to spend thousands. I noticed that the back tire of my Scion xA looked really low. I went to fill it up but it was very confusing. The owner's manual said inflate to 29 PSI. The tire said maximum inflation 44 PSI. (Quite a difference.) So here are the questions:

1) Should I trust the tire (44PSI) over the manual (29 PSI) because maybe they equipped it with a different tire?
2) When they say "max" (same on my bike tire) do you usually fill it close to the max or far below it?

I tried calling but they have voice mail now and nobody's available i need to get to plumville tomorrow morning. I talked to a lady before and she said i need to be at the bus stop by 8:00 and be ready to come back around 2:30 but she never said where to get picked up. I need to know where the bus is at to get on to go out to Plumville. I live in Indiana near the Indiana Senior High School.
