I have always heard that running a car's air conditioner will use more gas. I never really understood why it would. Is this true or false.

96 Plymouth Voyager stalled as I was turning into a parking lot on a rainy day it won't start again. I checked oil and added a quart "oil light was not on" I let the motor cool for a half hour and it still didn't work. Mechanic did electronic scan it showed it needed ignition coil but after replacing it with a new one it still didn't work.Plugs have spark gas filter is not cloged still the motor won't turn please help

I've been with the same company almost five years. My car insurance is renewed every six months, after I make the required renewal deposit. Like clockwork, I receive the new payment coupons, and temporary insurance card. However, I don't get the permanent insurance card and new policy stating the value of my vehicle, until almost a month later. Sometimes longer. Is this legal? If so, why does it take so long for the agent to issue the new policy, and how will this effect me if I ever disagree with what's in the policy?

im lookin' for honda civic LX in best deal, n i saw a person who sell it for$6,500. (2006) its just unbelivable low price. everything bout this car is just wonderful, it's been protected as he said.
so i asked him if we can make a date to see the car, and bout payment. the following are what he said: I am sorry but the pick up and the test drive are not available because I am in Great Britain.I am a hotel manager. Before leaving i had prearranged shipping with "WorldPay" so my presence isn't necessary. The car is in a warehouse of shipping company "DAS", ready for delivery. In exchange I will offer 5 days period of testing the car from the moment you receive it from the shipping company. Hello, I bought a used mercedes c230 with 84,000 miles on it. The car seemed great, but I got a check engine light the next day. I took it back to the dealer but the car was sold "as-is" and illinois has no laws on returning used cars. Well they were able to get the check engine light resolved, but I did some researching and it looks like the c230's are actually not very reliable, and very expensive to maintain. I still have a loan out for $7900, plus a paid a 2600 dollar down payment. Although the car was listed for $8900 on the web. Something just doesn't seem right.. This is my first time buying a car and I feel like I am being completely ripped off. Please help, can I sell this thing, pay the bank.. get the title and get rid of it?

I have a 2001 CBR929 that has been sitting for a while. I have been starting it regularly but one day it would not start but I was still getting neutral light to come on and could still here the electrical working on it when I turned the key on. I push started it and finally got it to start. I replaced the battery with a new one. Worked fine at first but now will not start and no electrical noise or neutral light coming on. Anyone know what It could be? Thank you for any help you might be able to assist me with! I did check fuses under the seat and all are still good.

Yesterday I was traveling on a long stretch of road with a couple of speed white painted lines on the road every so often. I was just crusing at about 100mph and forgot about my speed and suddenly noticed a police van parked up in the distance right along a set of speed white lines. When I suddenly slowed down, question is the road is a long straight, does anyone know do they get you right from a set distance like when I would of been doing 100mph or just when you go over the lines that they are parked up next to? my wife went to go sumwhere i our car it just stalled and never started again. it tries to start but it wont actually turn over. we thought it was the spark plugs . we changed 3 of them to see if that was it. still it wont start

I have a 1997 ford explorer 4.0 OHV and it idles funny and i went and got it inspected and the mechanic said it was my EGR valve so i replace it and the EGR vavle pressure sensor and it still idleing funny. And even if i slam on the gas it doesnt accelerate as fast as it used to.. I mean its really slow...please help!!!!!!
