im lookin' for honda civic LX in best deal, n i saw a person who sell it for$6,500. (2006) its just unbelivable low price. everything bout this car is just wonderful, it's been protected as he said.
so i asked him if we can make a date to see the car, and bout payment. the following are what he said: I am sorry but the pick up and the test drive are not available because I am in Great Britain.I am a hotel manager. Before leaving i had prearranged shipping with "WorldPay" so my presence isn't necessary. The car is in a warehouse of shipping company "DAS", ready for delivery. In exchange I will offer 5 days period of testing the car from the moment you receive it from the shipping company. So if you want to make this deal i will need the following details from you. After I will have all this details I will forward them to "WorldPay"

"and I will proceed the order. "WorldPay" will contact you with all the details that you need to complete this deal and also to see that I am covered by them and that I am legit seller. Waiting your email with the requested details."

Absolutely not! I would not trust a complete stranger offering a car at an unbelievable price. If it were $200 it might be worth a risk but $6,500 is a lot of money to risk. I would keep looking for a good local deal. You should never buy a used car without driving it and having it checked out by a mechanic.

Here is the deal. Charge the money on your Master Card, so if it is a rip off you can reverse the money and get your money back. But the catch is you better have it in writing, that if you do not like the car you will get your money back. Also, check the warehouse where he has the vehicle to make sure it is legitimate. Also, get his name and the license number. That way you can check it out. He should have some type of paperwork with the warehouse and of the title. You see if the title is in the USA, tell him you need the license plate to make sure it is a clean title. If he will not than tell him good bye. Reason is if their is a lien on it, then you get the car, but no title. He is in another country so he could care less.
I bought one car like that from a serviceman who was in Germany. Super deal too. But I did the above. Besides, the guy was in the service so I did not have to worry but still I did all the above, From checking out the car license registration to the owner of the car and it did not have a lien. I made a typed bill of sale which state that once I recieved the car, I had 7 days to drive it and I could request my money back for whatever reason. I told him that short of it have a knock in the engine or the transmission was out, I would take it. It was a 98 Chrysler Van for $3200 in cherry condition. Asking price was $9000. I was leary but I still got it and I lucked out. But his ad was in the paper though. It took about 4 months of writing back and fourth but it was worth it. So you never know. I know of one company that sells wood flooring but you have to go to the moving companies storange site to look at it and pay them for what you take. Strange arrangement but super cheap too compared to Home Depot. If it is hot wood, I don't care. lol
But if he can not give you the license plate number then run. See what number he has with DAS then check the number on the internet. You know he may be trying to sell you a car from somewhere else and let DAS ship it to you. DAS is a reliable company and ask them what they have to say on it. Also get his name and check out if he is a hotel mananger. Of course, It smells like a scam to me. And if it smells you better run..

Buyer beware. A car should be checked out and buying one sight unseen is asking for trouble. You don't know this person and are taking his word, and usually if a deal looks too good to be true, it is.
A service like car fax can help, but don't throw away your common sense because you reallly want this car.

Sorry but I don;t trust no one, and I don't care what the price is, I wouldn;t do it. for the main reason, you don't know this guy at all. you can't see the car, or drive it. He can say anything about the car because he wants to get rid of it. I personally would look for another car that at least you can see it and drive it. good luck.
