Recently, I was at an awkward intersection. The east/west street is normal. The north/south has a weird fork. One of those streets is set back a little bit. So at first glance, the street looks like a 4-way intersection. My impression is that that 5th stop sign was far enough back that the safest thing to do is advance to the 4th stop sign, then wait your turn. Technically, you can't really see that 5th stop well if you are heading east unless you start to turn. I almost got plowed by a mean man in a van who saw me turning, and he sped up, BLEW his horn at me and PASSED me. Scared me. Obviously, I will always be very careful at that intersection now--since it's the route I use to take my daughter to school...but just wanted some opinions. What do you guys think? Is this a 5-way intersection? Everyone gets a turn?

i have a 98 honda accord and i thought that i have finally finished it but i still feel like i am missing something, its lowered 3.5 inches carbon fiber lip, 18" khuma wheels black with crome lip, injen catback exuast and intake, dc sports hearders and pullys and cam gears, type r cam, probe indu. high dome pistons, valve springs, port polished head, stage 3 clutch, throttle body, injectors, fuel pump and regulator and fuel rails, short shifter, msd ignition and ecu upgrade (programable), vetech controller. i have been working on this car for 6 years and now i finally got it into the 9's with slicks and i feel like im missing something, my shop has already tuned it (honda high performance and tuning), im putting about 360 hp to the wheels without nos or a turbo and about 380 torque so i got that i just feel like im missing something will someone please see if i have missed something.

hello i have a 2000 chevy S10 pickup when the outside temputure get in the single digits the engine will not start i go to work in the early morn so its very cold when i warm it up in the mornings but when the temp. warms up a little bit in the later morn . it starts right up with no other problems i`ve ask a couple of the local mech. but they were not much help we replaced the fuel pump about 1yr. ago with a gm oem pump can anybody help thanks <<<<<<<<>>>>>>>k.c.

I have recently noticed a lack of power when accelerating at high speeds or up hills. My car runs great otherwise and still can reach highway speeds,just not as quickly as it used to. Occasionally it will quickly pull back when trying to acelerate too fast and the check engine light pops up for a few minutes and then goes off. I am planning on replacing the fuel filterand spark plugs which have not been replaced now for well over 100,000 miles. Is there any other tips you could give me to help correct this problem or do youthink the plugs and fuel filter will do the trick?Thanks,

I'm certainly aware that newer cars (especially hybrids) get much better gas mileage than previous models, which is better for the environment, or is it? What about the cost to the environment to build these new cars? How long do they last compared to older cars? I drive a 1993 Saturn SL2, and I'm just curious on what would be the impact if I got a different car (just wondering, there is no way I could afford a new car) like a prius or insight. What if I sold this car and got a new prius? What if I crush this car and got a new prius? What about selling it to a scrapyard? (There is no way I do either of the last 2, my car runs perfectly fine, lol) Just curious on how much of a difference these things really make.

i noticed the charger isnt charging it and the headlights are screwed up, one is brighter than the other. one headlight, the less brighter one, comes on right after the more brighter one comes on too. the lights and everything, except blinkers and i dont know why, come on while charger is in it... i check fuse and its good.thanks

what if you can't afford to take your car to the track or your car dont meet requirements, but if you do it illegally its free, unless you have been caught. i go to the illegal races every weekend and we race down lots of roads it depends which one has cops watching it or not. Everytime i go there is like i want to say 300 cars on a small road and i have yet to see a car accident, because no one wants to ruin there car that they have been working on forever, so they aren't stupid, and it is during the night, so why cant people get off there back, they will never stop street racing so why not let them have a road where they can hang out wihtout anyone screwing with them, becaues i always say if your out late at night your up to no good yourself, seriously who drives down the street and goes hey what are all those cars doing there lets go see, i know that many of you wont know where im coming from because you dont race but if you race in cali you will know what i mean.

How much money do all levels of government have to spend because cars exist? Should all of the money that governments spend (because of vehicles) all come from drivers? If so, should the government increase taxes (a bit more) to nudge people to want alternative means of transportation?
