hello i have a 2000 chevy S10 pickup when the outside temputure get in the single digits the engine will not start i go to work in the early morn so its very cold when i warm it up in the mornings but when the temp. warms up a little bit in the later morn . it starts right up with no other problems i`ve ask a couple of the local mech. but they were not much help we replaced the fuel pump about 1yr. ago with a gm oem pump can anybody help thanks <<<<<<<<>>>>>>>k.c.

Sounds like you might need an engine heater. Check with your auto supply or jc whitney. I used to put a couple of 100 watt bulbs under my hood close to the carb. Be careful bulbs don't get broken, makes sparks.

hell ya! I even have been given myself a 1986 ext cab s10. 2.8L w/over 210,000 miles on it! runs mushy as hell! usually city miles 2! good on gas and robust skill. usually unique factors additionally! yet i dont settle for as actual with reducing it. yet its your determination. my chum faded his ninety 8 and it does particularly nicely and it become hassle-free 2 do.

Just a thought here...have you checked your charging system?
CCA on battery too low?

1 word.....antifreeze if that doesn't work go find a mechanic
