what if you can't afford to take your car to the track or your car dont meet requirements, but if you do it illegally its free, unless you have been caught. i go to the illegal races every weekend and we race down lots of roads it depends which one has cops watching it or not. Everytime i go there is like i want to say 300 cars on a small road and i have yet to see a car accident, because no one wants to ruin there car that they have been working on forever, so they aren't stupid, and it is during the night, so why cant people get off there back, they will never stop street racing so why not let them have a road where they can hang out wihtout anyone screwing with them, becaues i always say if your out late at night your up to no good yourself, seriously who drives down the street and goes hey what are all those cars doing there lets go see, i know that many of you wont know where im coming from because you dont race but if you race in cali you will know what i mean.

tony i do race and have built my own car (from nothing) and yes there is times that i say just let them..
it is wrong to think this way and here is way......
it was 1980 or so and my friend and my self went to a race (not the track) and his car was not to be beat.. well that night we raced and wone three fore then my friend jumped in to the car and that was the last race he was on...
see the car developed a staring problem and he lust control and died.... there were no fire trucks safety equipment or life saving staff there so my friend go on and build your cars good and fast but go to the track and race where it is some what safe......
and yes i do race to day... a 1966 Chevy corvet full bloned with jet fule (do not try it)

Then, Tony, go right ahead and race. Hopefully you'll never get caught, arrested, go to jail, or become the girlfriend of a guy named Bubba. Or worse yet, kill somebody else. You obviously could care less about killing yourself.
From your questions you obviously are looking for someone to tell you it is okay to break the law. So now you have the answer you want.
But now that you've heard what you want to hear, do the right thing and do what it takes to race legitimately.
