The 'Nambers' refer to the model.

The first 'namber' 2, 3 or 4 is for the size of body and load capacity.

The second two 'nambers' are for engine size. '08' is the small 2.3 litre, 11 is a bigger one. 14 and so on.

the 2 is the smaller van with smaller wheels and 2.5 tonnes capacity the 3 is 3.5 tonnes and the 4 is 4.5 tonnes and most distinctive by the fact that it is twin rear wheeled and needs a tachograph. the 08 is a non turbo 2 litre 4 cyl (80bhp) the 311cdi is a 2.2 litre small turbo 4cyl (110 bhp) the 113 cdi is a large turbo 2.2 litre4 cyl (130 bhp)and the 316cdi is a 2.7 large turbo 5 cyl(160 bhp) CDI = comon rail injection ( much more powerfull than old system) the 310 and 312 are the older models that were 2.7 4 cyl and 2.9 5cyl respectively and you guessed it 110 and 120 bhp hope this helps. bye the way there's a new petrol version thats 280bhp so don't always think I beat that van away from the lights
