My sister told us about a car dealer that was offering sales on 2006 minivans. We went and looked, I didn't like the 2006 models they had because they had no options, but I did find a van I fell in love with, it was a loaded 2002 Town and Country Limited Edition, for only 13, 000. I left a reasonable deposit since the banks were closed. This was Saturday evening. They told us they'd do the financing Monday morning and we could return after work Monday, sign the paperwork and pick it up. Well today I called to tell my sister about it and imagine my suprise when she tells me she did the same exact thing for the same exact vehicle Friday evening, and they called her Saturday morning to tell her that her paperwork was ready to be signed and that she could come pick it up Saturday afternoon. She couldn't make it Saturday so she told them she'd come get it Monday. I cannot understand why they showed me the vehicle and took my money and are putting points on my credit for something sold?

My car struggles to accelerate, think about the Flintstones as they ran and ran and the car stayed put for a few seconds before it started going anywhere. My car jerks when it should be accelerating. But if I push on the gas hard enough for the transmission to change gears, then it is fine. You can imagine how frustrating it is to follow behind someone who is constantly changing speeds. MY QUESTION IS: what's wrong? Is it something that needs to be fixed? Is it possible to shift to a different gear to get it going, then switch back to overdrive?

I'm not wanting to take it to get it fixed because I have no money, so if this is something that doesn't need fixing, then I don't want to waste any money (that I don't have).

I'm gonna empty out the interior and put like a bed and stuff and hook it up so its really gnarly. If you've ever seen the movie GRIND you know what I'm talking about. But yea, I'm kinda broke so whats a good van make/year/model in my budget. I don't care about it being comfortable or nice-looking and stuff I just want it to be reliable.

My partner and me have just driven back to deal from london. the road was closed into my town so we had to go right around, but as I am from the area i knew a shortcut. He huffed and puffed cos he didnt know the road (he was driving) and I told him to put his full beam on. He said, very crossly, that full beam lights are not to use to show the driver the way but are there just for warning a car coming in the opposite way, towards you that you are there. Is that right anyone, go on make me happy

In reading forums on the web, it seems that brake pulsations due warped rotors are a constant problem for the 2001 JGC. I've had mine replaced twice and turned twice, and now I need it done again! All my previous repairs were by dealers, and after 4 times in 3 cities, I'm not inclined to go back to the OEM well again.

So, two requests for recommendations, please: (1) Has anyone had success in eliminating the problem with aftermarket parts for replacing the front brakes, and if so, who was the manufacturer (2) any reputable mechanic in LA (Burbank and Pasadena area preferred) to do the job? Thanks!

I got two tickets within 18 months of each other.Someone told me that you can avoid points on your DMV record by overpaying the ticket and not cashing in the refund refund check, is that true? I herd it was due to the transaction not being completed or something like that. Could it at least hide the point from the insurance? Or is this just an urban legand? Has anyone actually done this?

I went to a flight school. Maybe some of you have herd of it. Airman flight school. It shut down and left me bone dry with a HUGE loan to pay off. I'm getting back into it slowly since I have to pay for it myself. I just recived my instrument rating and i'm wanting to start my commercial. I don't have any desire to fly for an airline. I want to fly cargo or something like that. I guess my question to all of you pilots out there is after flight instruction for a year or two what do you think the market will be like? Any referances would help me out a bunch. Its my dream and its all i've wanted to do my whole life. Thanks agian to all of you pilots out there!
