Hello, I have a faulty immobiliser on my S reg Renault Megane Scenic, I should be getting the 4 digit code from a Renault dealer tomorrow - however when I get the car going is there anyway I can remove the Immobiliser from the car?

I am in the middle lane during afternoon rush hour, almost at my house. The light turns green, I step on the clutch, my hand moves to first like it always does, then BAM. The car decides that it wont coopoerate today. I cant shift into any gear from neutral

I play with the clutch, nothing, Finally after maybe 3 minutes that seemed like 15 with cars honking behind you, I turn off the engine and start it again and then I can shift.

The next day it happenes again, but this time i can somewhat force it into gear.

Is it my clutch fluid, lever, or my clutch burned out? Id love to spend a weekend tinkereing but I work 70 hrs a week.

Smooth engine though.

A cop hit my parked 2002 Chrysler Sebring causing $5000 in damage. The city is paying for the damage, but will they pay for the depreciation associated with a wreck of this magnitude? The value of the car just dropped a bunch because of the wreck.

I have a dodge dakota with a short bed, and buying a cargo expander will set me back at least $200.00. I am sure some of you out there have been creative in making your own.

Sorry to bother you,
I have just come back from renting a video out, which is 10 min drive and on my return journey car felt weird from the right hand side and i felt i was applying more pressure on gas pedal. Couple of months back i put some steering fluid in. I don`t know what to do as i am a girl of 21. My car is a astra 1.6LS petrol, and registered 2001 X registration. I bought the car in july; mot not due until december so i was thinking of getting the car serviced at the same time. Do you think it would be wiser if i put it in for a service tomorrow morning? If i can at such short notice. Atleast they can top fluid levels etc. I have been driving for three years and other 2 cars both let me down. Your advice will be appreciated.

xx

Please answer in terms of physics, not money or time savings. I realize that sometimes freight trains may push or pull their cargo simply because the engine is located in that position and it would take too much effort to relocate it.

I can't find it in a dictionary. Are synchromesh gears still made out of the stuff? It is (was?) a composite material designed to pulverize when worn out or faulty instead of breaking-up and ruining the rest of a transmission.

I'm going to buy a car soon, And then move pretty much right after that...It would be a good idea to get the insurance and plates and stuff before I go, obviously, but what will need to be done once I move? I heard that as long as I live in my parent's house, the insurance would be cheaper, well, I'd be moving out...so I have no idea how to get everything straightened around.
