I am in the middle lane during afternoon rush hour, almost at my house. The light turns green, I step on the clutch, my hand moves to first like it always does, then BAM. The car decides that it wont coopoerate today. I cant shift into any gear from neutral
I play with the clutch, nothing, Finally after maybe 3 minutes that seemed like 15 with cars honking behind you, I turn off the engine and start it again and then I can shift.
The next day it happenes again, but this time i can somewhat force it into gear.
Is it my clutch fluid, lever, or my clutch burned out? Id love to spend a weekend tinkereing but I work 70 hrs a week.
Smooth engine though.

Check the clutch slave cylinder, it's probably leaking.

That vehicle has a hydraulic clutch. I would bet it has a leak, probably in the slave cylinder, and has lost its fluid. You can add fluid as a stop gap, but you will need to have it fixed soon, or pay for a tow when it completely fails, as it will.

had the same problem with my 93 integra.. i had to rev the engine at certain RPMs to get it to shift into each gear.. if your clutch pedal's feel hasnt changed.. then i would say it is the clutch's throwout bearing or the clutch itself have gone bad...
might as well throw in a new clutch kit(it comes with the throwout bearing)... i dont think you have a hydraulic clutch. im almost positive you have a cable clutch. dont bother trying to tinker with it. buy a new clutch and have your TRUSTED mechanic put it in for you. i bought a new clutch kit (EXEDY OEM replacement) from eBay for around $150-180 and had my mechanic put it in for me for $300. good luck !

I agree. I think the hydraulic clutch has a leak. Definitely get the vehicle to a transmission shop a.s.a.p. You will only have more problems later if you do not get the vehicle fixed soon.

Have you tried putting some gear oil in your gears? Or maybe you need new sychronizers. Only way to tell is if it scrapes at all when going in gear (my mustang does. I need sychronizers) then you need them but otherwise I would say check the clutch out or take it to a pro.

Pull the aggregate out to modify for the air tension at an analogous time as putting complete RPM. turn the gasoline pump on and turn to the alternative tank, wait some seconds then turn the gasoline pump off. then you definately could... oh wait... could no longer withstand haha :) sluggish the vehicle and then grab to 2d so as that the equipment does not over rev, bypass all the way down to 1st then impartial the comparable way and circulate as quickly as the line is obvious. the vehicle will stall stopped in 2d in case you do not have your foot on the grab.
