I'm looking to spend around $200. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just to start my truck from the inside of my house early in the morning...the local dealers have Viper, Alert, and Python...anyone know anything about these?

I have a 96 Lumina Minivan. My daughter left the door open overnight and the battery went dead. We jumped it but it doesn't seem to hold a charge. It will run fine after we get it started but it has been a couple of weeks now and we have had to jump start it 3 times this weekend. When you try to start it we have power for about a minute then the lights go off and it is dead. Do we need a new battery? Someone suggested the alternater but we had a friend test that when this started and he said it was fine. Battery or something else?

I think I got ripped off. My car wouldn't start, it wasn't the battery cause the radio and lights would come on. The mechanic told me it was a gas..something (i forgot) he replaced it and when i asked for the old part back, he said that he would have to charge me extra money to give it back. Is this legal, or right?

I am helping a friend of mine to fix his Dominator. It's an 89 and the CDI died, he's replaced it and there are still various things not working.... We discovered one of the diodes in the fuse box to be disconected so resoldered it. But still the rev counter, neutral light, side stand light, side light and low beam do not work.

The low beam could be a broken lamp. All fuses are fine and the bike will start, thought I didn't want to run it for much time in case of killing the CDI....

Can anyone help??? I am proficient at wiring, but not so experienced with this particular bike, neither do I have a wiring diagram...

Many thanks good people.

Mike ;o)

It's a relatively small line about 12 inches long and about 1/8 inch thick? Would a rubbing compound work? She's had the 2007 Camry for only two weeks. Would you recommend getting it fixed professionally?

My car temp guage is acting funny. I started my car to check for leaks in the coolant but notice that the fan is not turning. Is the fan of a car always supposed to turn? If it doesn't does that mean the fan belt has broken? Is the car safe to drive 2 miles into town to a garage to have it fixed or should I have it towed or should I see if my neighbor or son can help me replace it?
