I'm looking to spend around $200. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just to start my truck from the inside of my house early in the morning...the local dealers have Viper, Alert, and Python...anyone know anything about these?

you can go to jcWhitney.com or styling consepts.com they have a few more like bulldog. If you go to northern tool company they have a couple, I just saw in the sunday paper that circuit city has one for under 200

I've installed numerous starters, and for the money, I always go w/ bulldog. Their website has wiring diagrams for easy instalation in cars, and I usually get the base model at Wal-mart for about $50.

I'm also looking for one of those too (as a gift ) I have been looking at best buy,circuit city stores like that
