From my days as a "repo man" for General Motors the impound fees can get expensive real quick. You will need a copy of the police report ,proof that you own the bike, and cash or cashiers check/money order (I suggest money order). Call the impound lot and get the total fees as of the day you will pick up the bike and their requirements to release the vehicle. Then get there ASAP time is money and the daily storage fees rack up fast.

It really depends on the tow company. There will be an initial tow charge plus daily storage fee. Was it insured? Some companies will cover this cost.

depends how long it's been there. Point one inform your insurance company. THey may want to check that the people who run the compund had nothing to do with the bike being nicked.

That all varies from city to city. The bigger the city the more it will cost you.
