I am helping a friend of mine to fix his Dominator. It's an 89 and the CDI died, he's replaced it and there are still various things not working.... We discovered one of the diodes in the fuse box to be disconected so resoldered it. But still the rev counter, neutral light, side stand light, side light and low beam do not work.

The low beam could be a broken lamp. All fuses are fine and the bike will start, thought I didn't want to run it for much time in case of killing the CDI....

Can anyone help??? I am proficient at wiring, but not so experienced with this particular bike, neither do I have a wiring diagram...

Many thanks good people.

The CDI is fine all it dose is control the ignition timing! Check the switches on the side stand and neutral switch a spray of wd40 and check the earths a bit of rust can stop them working as for the rev counter it is electronic and works of a pick up on the crank you can try weiring up a rev counter of another bike to eliminate the rev counter as the problem if you have a multi meeter check all the weiring for continuity Good luck

Are you getting power going to the fuse box?
Battery (+) - fuse box - main fuse - red - ignition switch - black - fuse box.
After checking that the fuses are good, check to see if one side of each fuse terminal has power.
