That particular model is for beginners/semi advanced. It has great flight characteristics, however the plane is built pretty stable and will not roll very easily.
Many real aircraft just will not roll. The centre of gravity is placed lower to act like a pendulum. This makes the plane inherently more stable and easy to handle.
With practise ................
Dive to gain speed, pull up on elevator and quickly use left full aileron. As it rolls inverted push a little forward on the elevator but keep full elevator. You will notice a huge reduction in speed. Once the plane rolls to upright you will have to keep elevator forward to gain speed.
You will notice the plane will climb then will lose altitude quickly. Also try it with the wind blowing from the right hand side of the plane. Helps a bit.
It takes practise. Just make sure you have enough altitude.
Doing rolls in my aircraft, speed is the key to entry. A roll without rudder is sloppy and un-coordinated but attainable.
It becomes more of a barrel roll.
Good luck

It is possible, but it is harder without rudder, as the sequence for a "real airplane" is full alieron (direction of roll), - starting into rudder (to lift nose up),,,, --inverted - neutral rudder, other wing up,,, rudder "up" again to keep nose up, then as it levels ---no more rudder or aileron (aileron stops slightly before wings level!)Now in additon to that you add a little elevator just before roll starts, and reverse elevator as it goes inverted -- The whole deal here is to try to keep the nose slightly above the horizon!! Remember that as you invert, -- everything goes "backwards" -(left is right, -up is down!!)
You can do wing rolls "of sorts" with just elevator and aileron, out it will be slightly like a "corkscrew" maneuver, as it is not "co-ordinated" with the rudder!
It is possible to do these general maneuvers with just elevator ( 1 channel), it is a series of pulses (in right order), - it has been years since I thought about it, but it also rolls easier to one side than the other (as it uses torque of engine to change positions of arifoils) as I renmember it rolls easier to the left than to the right (prop turns right -from rear of airplane). It also does loops in the same way (with different pulses on the controls)!
Get enough altitude with the airplane so that you can see it esily,- but not so close to the ground that you can't recover before it hits ground. Do a little experimenting, -- it will come fairly easy!!
Model airplanes was 45 years ago for me!

you might be able to snap roll it by hitting the elevator briefly to bring the nose up and then trying full left aileron (assuming a right spinning prop). It may not be pretty, but it might be close. To do a real smooth roll you need rudder. On the snap roll, you might not have enough control surface to bring it around quick enough without losing the battle with gravity. try adding little tabs of balsa to your ailerons to give them a little more surface area. good luck

If you purchased the ready-to-fly version, check to verify that the "Mix" sliding switch on the back of the transmitter is in the OFF position. Make sure the other switches are NOT centered. If the ailerons are not responding, ensure the servo is plugged into the correct receiver channel.

what is the wing configuration? does it have ailerons, or does it only steer by the tail? i am not familiar with the sky scooter, but i do know how to fly.

Man, you need to go and get more flight training, when you ease the control stick left or right its supposed to roll the plane, if it loops you are pulling back the joy, i.e looping rather than rolling.
