On the front of the CAR. Left side of engine. V6---> FL-820S. Inline 4---> FL-2017-B (cartridge style filter).

It should have 1 on the lower left corner but its a old crappy one. A proper oil distributor flowage filter only costs 50 pound anyways :)

To do it right you will need to drop the pan. When you change tranny fluid that is dark and gritty, you need to change the filter as well. If you don't drop the pan you will not get all the grit out of it.

if the engine is a 2.3 duratec. i believe it is located on the lower left front of the engine. it is a"paper" cartridge type filter-not a theaded
screw on.

IN FRONT UNDER THE EXHAUST its low so you may have to get under the car.
