I have had this problem with my power window for along time now. The window goes down fine with no problems, but when you go to put the window up the window moves up maybe 1/4 of an inch then stops. You must then wait about 3 mins to try again and usually it will go up another 1/4 of an inch. If you dont wait the 3-5 mins the window will do nothing when you press the button. So I decided to take the door apart. I unplugged the power cord to the window motor, and then removed the white piece that it was attached to. When I removed this the motor brushes' fell out and so did the springs. I managed to find them lol. I noticed that there was lots of gresee all over the brushes and the motor armature. I cleaned the gresee and inspected the brushes but they dont seemed to be very worn. Now The biggest problem I have now I finding a way to get the brushes to stay on the springs and get them pushes back enough to get them back in place (seems impossible). Could this be the cause of my problem?

I plan on taking the exam for my Learner's Permit in a few weeks. How is the exam structured, and what specifically do I need to know?

Thanks.

The passenger side window works fine. We were wanting to disconnect the switch for the passenger window (on the drivers side) and put it on the drivers side switch. Not sure if this can be done. We can't figure out how to remove the wires.

It seems like we could have more efficient streets that would not require the use of salt in the winter and would keep from getting too wet during rain. Not to mention the money that we could save if we had a way to prevent potholes.

The value of the van is 675.00 and I only had liability coverage. Do I have to file an insurance claim. No other vehicles were involved and no injuries.

I'm looking to buy a motorbike. I'm 25 and rode a 125cc for about a year when I was 19, but haven't been on one since. I'm keen on a sports tourer as I do a lot of travelling at the weekends, and I'd also use it to commute into London. I've heard that the Suzuki GSK600F is a decent ride, but I'm not sure if there's anything better. Really it needs to be cheap to run & insure, reliable, and fairly quick (but I'm not too bothered about that at the moment - I can always get a bigger bike in the future). I've got my CBT, lessons, and kit sorted so it's just the bike to get. Any ideas?

I was on the frewway yesterday behind a truck, and whatever the back open bed had on there (gravel, concrete, rocks) flew and cracked my windshield. I got the licence plate number, but who do I report it to???

I am rebuilding an old bike (one of those 'get it out of my yard and you can have it' deals). It runs great now, but I need a left crankcase cover, handlebar controls (work, need replacing), a seat, and various other little details. I live near Utica, NY but will drive as far south as Cooperstown, north as far as Watertown, west as far Chittinango, and east as far as St Johnsville.
If you know of a good cycle scrapyard in or near this area, please respond. Also, if you have or know of a KZ1000, 1977 to 1985, for sale in parts or whole, please respond. you may e mail me at michaelsmaniacal at yahoo.com or just answer the question if you want the points. Thanks everyone!!

Lights, hazards, and blinkers still work, just no brake lights when brake pedal is pushed. I have checked fuses, in cab they are good, under the hood there is a brake lamp relay and a fuse labeled stop/haz, but it is a bigger fuse, they are both missing. Can anyone help me with this problem?
