Enh, not really. I love GM, but saturn isnmt what it use to be. Cobalt is a better choice if u are set on that platform (it is basiclaly the same). I would look at the Mazda 3 or Scion Xb instead.

Saturn's in general are not terribly good cars... they depreciate in value quicker than most other cars because no one wants a saturn, let alone a used one.

it depends on your definition of a good car. First it is an American car meaning that it will have very low resale value.
Also reliability is lower than its Japanese counterparts. However it is very inexpensive to maintain and its insurance and maintenance costs are much lower than other vehicles. In that class you are much better off getting something like a Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla.

It's Okay but if you are looking for an inexpensive new first car take a look at the Scion Xb or the Hyundai Accent.

I gotta say, they don't seem to be great. They will be fine mechanically, but there are some design issues that are wierd. If you like the interior on them, I'd say go ahead and get it, since that's been the most debated part of the car.

There isn't enough "noness" in the word "no" to answer this question correctly.
