My wife and I signed a contract to purchase a car in Arkansas. We where approved for financing on that Friday evening. By the time the following Monday rolled around we had second thoughts and wanted to return the car. My financing company had yet to sent the money for the car. The dealership asked to have a chance to find the car we really ended up wanting (which had a couple extra options) and was unable to find it. Upon asking to return the car they "hinted" that they "could legally take action". This situation has quickly turned from the the dealership willing to do anything to make us happy to "they may take legal action." I've been told by a few experienced dealership managers that since I have not given them any money, that only remote thing they could do is charge me for the 3 1/2 days I've had the car, but that they probably would not even do that. Can someone please advise.

I am thinking of updating my old banger to a more modern car. I am a 22 yr old single mum, in a low paying job (yeah alright I hear ya, I need to get a higher payed job).

Any ideas what sort of car would be suitable? it would be just me and my kid.

Sometimes when I am driving home from work my battery light will come on and if i press the gas, the headlights and dashboard lights get brighter. Along with that the check engine lights comes on with the abs light. The check engine light and the battery light both go off when i press the brake but the abs light stays on. Again all of this only happens sometimes.

In a plane crash EVEYONE usuallly dies, but with parachutes people would have the chance to escape, although the plane would have to slow down and lower its altitude for evacuation obviously.

I have a 1998 Chevy that has nearly 200,000 miles. I've always changed the oil & filter at 3,000 miles. I've rebuilt everything on the vehicle, except the motor itself. Was wondering if I could extend the motor's life if I changed to synthetic oil for the oil changes. Anyone have any advice ?

Hi, my rear view mirror has come off the windscreen of my Renault Clio. I have tried special sticky patches from Halfords, glass glue and ordinary superglue and none have worked. The mirror itself is quite heavy. Does anyone have any suggestions for a quick setting strong glue for this? Or any other alternative? Thanks.
