how do i add coolant to my 95 ford aerostar. i got a prestone antifreeze coolant, i am not sure if it is the right stuff to add, if not which n where i can find a good one ?

75/25 is a good mix, but I have found 50/50 works better. Prestone is a very good brand and will do exactly what you need it to do.

There should be a plastic bottle somewhere under the hood of the vehicle marked 'engine coolant.' This is where you add coolant to your system.

I have work on cars for 28 years. So to add coolant, I would wait till the van was cold, then take off the rad cap.. Go to wll mart and buy per mix coolant. And just enough to fill the rad . Next top off the over over fill tank. Also look for any leaks.

In the overflow tank, next to the washer fluid bottle.

25% coolent +75 % distilled water
