im trying to rebuild a big block 403 motor but i cant seem to find any information on it anywhere... ive even tryed parts store i thought there might be a web site i could go to . any information will help.

OK! Car Talk.... what good does the Import vs. Domestic battle do?

With all the spouting off about how one is better than the other; I thought it might be helpful to have some people that are actual professionals in the field.... example: you're a race car driver.... and this doesn't mean that you peeel out in the Tim Horton's Drive-thru. If you have any sort of accreditation and can bring a valid point to the forum, then please do so. I look forward to pushing this age-old debate in a more civilized direction.... rather than sit all day and hear people ***** and whine and say ignorant things like "Hondas are lame" or "Fords Suck".... both have redeeming features... it's up to all of you now to prove which is worthy of the title... Can I apply for a duplicate CA license while on temp assignment overseas?

Just the other day I had my wallet stolen with my CA driver's licence inside. I am currectly on temporary work assignment in London, United Kingdom and need to get a duplicate licence issued, as I come back to the states fairly regularly and need to be able to drive legally. I will be back in California in a few months for a week, during which I can go to the DMV and apply for a duplicate licence. Will they issue me a duplicate licence? Will they send the licence to my temporary address (since my current apartment is being subleted and mail forwarding is very spotty)?

Starting Problems for a 1985 Ford Ranger?

i just recieved a 1985 ford ranger and we towed it maybe down 1 street to a gas staition and put 5 dollars in it, and we had to play with it to start it hit the gas let it go type deal, well it starting running decent but when i got home i waited a few hours it started up twice without neededing to touch the gas and it started up in under 3 seconds, well i drove a few streets (2am at this point) parked it and put it in reverse reversed fine but when i hit the brakes and it came to a complete stop it killed so i tryed starting it it wouldnt happen then i tried the gas let it go thing it wouldnt have it i tried multiple times, in the end i had to walk it al the way home by myself steering and pushing it was hell, im geussing tune-up-spark plgs plug wires, oil change, and changing the air filrtter will be good but what yall got?

car problem?

i got a vauxhall tigra and it keeps over heating. i already fitted a new radiator, thermostat and water bottle. all ok for a week and now it is over heating again. and now the fan does not kick in when hot. any one no what the problem is ?
