how do i reset the ecu on a landrover freelander?

warm up engine,turn off,disconnect battery,after a few minutes reconnect battery and start without any throttle.This should also save some fuel.

normally ecu's will reset from disconnecting the battery for an hour or two.
i would ring landrovers technical help line or your local service centre if that fails.

Before you disconnect your battery. Make sure you have Code for your radio. Otherwise it will not work until you enter the right code.
