No. Technology advancements don't happen overnight. From the dawn of man, man has slowly discovered new things and learned to create from them. Exploration, discovery, and the drive to better ourselves and our knowledge has occured since the beginning and continues to occur every day. Do you think in a hundred years when flights to the moon are common place that people will look back and ask if we are dumb now? Human evolution is no different than technological evolution. Sure 150 years ago people were more simple, they were content with living off the land, they were more active, walking where they needed to go. Every generation has a Bill Gates. Someone who creates a marvelous thing that betters mankind in some fashion. This goes back throughout history, some are more remarkable than others (Leonardo Da Vinci for example) Considered odd in his time, now he is revered as a genius.

If you dint know there was a thing called bread, butter, and egg...................... Will you be able to make something called a French Toast?? But if i give you all the things above, yo will certainly be able to experiment and prepare new things.........
Got my point?
It was a gradual process.....First wheel was invented, then the cart, then came the cars and they are still being improved...... Same with computers and every other machine.... It doesnt mean that man was Dumb earlier..... It was just that there were very few me indeed, and if you apply the percentage of Geniuses amongst men, it would come down to a very few intelligent men who could think of new things..... As the population grew and the need to discover new resources sufaced, man was able to discover more things and make new inventions........ Building something from scratch take a long time, and thats what man had to do earlier, but now, man already has a base, and due to that and its easier for him to invent and build!

No, not dumb at all... Take a tour of an antique steam engine locomotive...They are just as complicated as modern day engines, they just use a different medium to work ( steam pressure and mechanics instead of electronics ) I do find it peculiar that most breakthroughs in technology seem to occur in different parts of the world simultaneously...

No. They were quite happy as they were. Look at the
Egyptian archetectures, the Greek literatures, the
Indian philosophies and they have started with a clean
slate. Only a dumb will think we are very clever than
our forefathers.
