What plane has the best sounding engine spool up sound? I think it is the Delta 767-400. What do you think?

OK I am partial to a radial engine because of the throatiness of the sound they make, but if I were asked about the most unique sound it would be the engines of the C-5 at take off………..you can’t mistake them!!

Ah Peckerhead, you are wrong. The only thing better than the sound of a Merlin engine, is the sound of 4 Merlin engines pulling along a Lancaster!

All 4 motors on a lockheed constellation starting up one by one.

Clear prop, booster coils on, mesh 1, start 1. Ahh I can almost smell the avgas and oil smoke.

The C-5 Galaxy's engine sound rocks! I love its sound. It can't be mistaken for anything else.

All eight Pratt & Whitneys on a B52 spooling up. The sound, that rumbling sound, it sounds like.......................freedom.
