With all the spouting off about how one is better than the other; I thought it might be helpful to have some people that are actual professionals in the field.... example: you're a race car driver.... and this doesn't mean that you peeel out in the Tim Horton's Drive-thru. If you have any sort of accreditation and can bring a valid point to the forum, then please do so. I look forward to pushing this age-old debate in a more civilized direction.... rather than sit all day and hear people ***** and whine and say ignorant things like "Hondas are lame" or "Fords Suck".... both have redeeming features... it's up to all of you now to prove which is worthy of the title... BEST CAR....... Good Luck and Enjoy!

As a profeesional driver, I can tell you each car has a purpose, foreign or domestic.

From experience racing and Audi 4000 CT vs a Camaro, it is plain to see were each has strong and week points.

To say that one is beter than the othe(domestic vs foreign) is simply foolish. And probably said by someone who wishes they had the 'other' car.

I use my Camaro in the valley when I want to run 160 mph on strait runs.

My Porsche gets pushed hard in the hills, transitioning into an off camber, multiple apex turn, sterring hard from the rear end.

My Jeep goes up and rolls back down.....

people are biased. It is our nature. For some reason automakers have been able to attach loyalty onto ownership. Which is stupid. Those who buy a car because it is what there family bought are buying into the stupidity.

do your research and buy what is best. For the most part automakers are more similar than not. There really are not to many crappy cars. With manufacturing standards as high as they are you really cant lose. But where you can win is buying cars which are great buy the numbers, but have a lower public sentiment (KIA, Hyundai). Quality is high and prices are low. You might get a couple of jokes about it, but you can laugh with them all the way to the bank.

Let the morons spend money on a name. Instead by quality and use your brain.

Ok well, i dont really understand the question.
However i agree about fords sucking..unless you have a mondeo sport pushing out 450 break.
However i do like the honda S2000, and even though my brother puts me down about liking them..i'd probably get an imported version thats pushing out atleast 350 bhp, and a chip to increase the torque re-do suspention etc etc.
Overall though i think i'd like a bugatti. It gives some decent street credit i guess :)

Sorry if i didnt answer correctly :)
