I'm not gay dammit, I am looking for a first car and I found a Sebring, but I don't want it to end up classifying me as gay because of what type of car it is. I didn't literally mean is the car gay, I meant is it a car notorious for being owned by gay people(like the Miata)

As silly as it seems to play semantics, I can't refrain.

We know a car can't be gay, in an defineable sense of the word. A car's possession could imply the underlying homosexuality of its owner. Or, in the lesser-used meaning of the term, a car can most certainly cause happiness in its owner or user.

Is a 1997 Sebring Convertible a gay car?

No. Certainly not, because we must adhere to the rules of physics and common knowledge which insist a car couldn't not BE anything because it already is.

Contrarily, can a car imply the "gayness" of its admirers, owners, or designers? I suppose, somehow. But for a vehicle to be used as a symptom for gayosity, it would seem that said vehicle should need to be a penis on wheels, or something as incriminating.

A Chrysler Sebring (regardless of year or body style) doesn't seem to meet such qualifications, therby suggesting it's additional possibilities for being used in any "gay meaning homosexual" should hereby be discarded.

The Sebring convertible is _basically_ an improved LeBaron, and the LeBarons were hugely successful.

You didn't specify any features of the Sebring Convertible in question. In terms of the car being used in any "gay meaning homosexual" argument, the cars condition, color, specifications, and details should be taken into account. A certain color such as the Chrysler Purple that was being used in '97, could be abused and misinterpereted as appropriate cause for the "gay meaning homosexual argurment". However, red being the noted color of the vehicle in question, I see no issue arrising unless the paint is flaked, rusted, or the body is in poor condition.

Once all the details have been taken into account a more apt judgement could be made. But until then, no car can BE gay, and it seems infeasible that a 1997 Sebring Convertible contains sufficient cause for any "gay meaning homosexual" argument.

Good luck in your quest for a sexually-identified (or identifying) automobile.

My suggestion? The Oscar Meyer Weiner-mobile.

Definitely a chick car. I wouldn't immediately call a guy who drove one gay but it is definitely not cool!
