I would like to know before entering the runway for take off some aircraft's line up on the runway and then wait for sometime then push the throttles but some others don't pause at all once they enter and line up the runway they apply take off thrust. What is the reason for this?

Now i've taken a particular intrest into cars but I dont have the stuff or half the lingo when my friends talk about them. I've also started to like idea the modding cars and making them run faster its not like a fly by type of interest it really seems to be more of a passion if there are any sites or books I can read up those would be of great help.

98 ford explorer timing chain guide has broken and the recall date passed 3 months ago , Three years ago the ford dealer we bought it from checked it and said it was not broken and they could not repair it unless it was broken. We do not drive this car much, 1,600 miles three years
