You can't add "compression" to an engine.
If you don't have enough compression, the usual causes are:
1) head gasket is blown
2) piston ring has worn out or cracked
3) valves are not sealing properly
All of the above requires disassembly of the engine - at least partially.
There are lots of canned remedies available in automotive stores. None of them will work for long term and many of them are actually harmful to the engine.
You need to first understand the problem correctly then possibly, get a second opinion.

Somebody is pulling your leg. You can't buy compression in a can. Compression is what you get when the your fuel is compressed in the cylinder by the piston moving up against the head. The only way to fix it is to go into the engine. Valves, rings, or head gasket. Doesn't sound like he is asking way to much, depending on which problem it is. Get a second opinion.

the compression does not come in a can, it is a problem inside the engine, if he is only charging $750 i would jump on that if he put it in writing

To get compression, change the engine or repair it. Nothing you put in it will add compression.

What you really need is a gonkulator. You can bolt it onto the finateny rod and that should solve your problem.
