I'm looking for a cruiser, not a racing bike or crotch rocket. I've heard that the Honda Shadow is good to start on. Is that right?

1996 Lincoln Town Car
My fuel pump relay is intermittent. The relay is good; I even put a new one on. When I turn the key on you can hear the relay click and the car will start. If you don’t hear the relay click it will not start. Turning the key on and off will make the relay work.. It seems to be a common problem on the Internet but I have not got an answer as to what it may be.

I have replaced the 390 with a 89 351w in my 1972 f-250
does anyone know where to find the harness(duraspark)for the 351w.w/out paying over 300 bucks for it. You wouldent think this part would be this hard to find all aftermarket vendors want like 350 to 500 for this harness. Good mail order sources needed
thanks :)

I have a 1995 Buick Lesabre. What relay's would trigger the check engine light? IF I tried to jump the AC cluth would that make my check engine light come on? I didn't leave it jumped for too long just enough to see if the clutch would click in and it did, So what could be the Problem with the AC. I did fill it with R134a? My last question is does anyone know how to take of the turn signal/cruise control stalk?

My #2 cylinder (passenger side second from front) on my 4.6L W type engine -- 4X4 -- spark plug stripped the aluminum block.

Tried to get heli coil installed unsuccessfully -- since plugs are recessed so far down inside cylinder head.

Instead in order to get it back on the road, they "glued" the spark plug into the head -- and in the process got some glue on the tip of the plug (I'm guessing) based on the continually deteriorating performance. Body is in great condition.

I'm currently on the second engine -- first one blew at 99K miles and it was replaced with a 25K mile replacement (warranty work from Ford's extended warranty thank goodness). It now has about 175K miles on it -- so this engine has roughly 100K if I'm ciphering correctly.

Should I replace the cylinder head or entire engine -- in other words do I have to take the engine out to change the head?

Any advice would be appreciated -- and NOOOOOO getting rid of it cuz it's a ford is not what I had in mind :o)

For quite some time now my brake light has been flashing.
It blinks seven times then stops, then does it again.
What does this mean, and how do I fix it?

I have a 1990 Chrysler New yorker Fifth Avenue. We bought the car, it needed a new pullie. The guy said they don't make them metal anymore. So we gotten a plastic one. Then after that, we can't keep our belt on. It tears and fall off.
Started 2-3 months, now it's every 2 weeks. Can't afford belts coming and going all the time. Since we had gotten the car. Everything started to fall apart 2-3 months after. We can't afford to get another one. Then again, we can't afford to keep replacing all the darn time.
We got problems with the headlights, only one set. The door wanna jam sometime, the shocks, and needs two new tires on the back. Can someone help me, with the belt problem ???

After sitting for a week, bike would start but not keep running. Dealer says because of California emmissions and ethanol, this will continue to be a problem for me. The options were 1) When through riding, keep bike upright, turn fuel line off, and allow gas to burn out of carbs and fuel lines. Add half stregnth stabilizer if not riding for a week or more. And 2) Go outside and start bike and let run for 10 minutes or so, or take it around the block a few times. Do this every other day. Neither option seems appropriate. I'm a weekend rider with a busy weekly schedule. Would Marvel Mystery Oil or other additive help in my situation? If so, how much for 4.2 gallon tank? Appreciate all help. Thanks
