When driving my car, it makes a annoying scraping sound...seems to be in the passenger side wheel as it goes around. What could it be, and how much will it cost me!!!??!! I'm going to take it in to be serviced tomorrow but want an idea.

I'm wondering about the car regarding to its health, and the gas consumption.

1. Turning the engine off, and then restarting it.
2. Running the car, but putting it in parking.
3. Running the car, but leaving it in drive, and just pressing on the brake pedal.

With the huge amount of traffic accidents, should it be mandatory to take a driving exam when renewing your license? Not the driving exam taken to get the license, but a new test geared towards maintaining safe drivers.

I drive an automatic Toyota Corolla and last week the engine light came on, is it sumthing serious or will it go away. Oil and water levels are fine, so i dont think its really that serious.

I'd like to know a mechinical or auto-electric explanation and a tried n tested solution.
