What is the benefits of competing rates? Well duh, you say because you may get cheaper rates somewhere else but I need proof. Right now I have a '95 Ford Escort, I have basic insurance, I'm a step 12, and I pay about $140 a month...what is better than that? Please name the state you live in.

Alright, I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a country boy. I think it would look kind of neat. Maybe something that could make it on breakdotcom

The 2004 F200 is pre-NEMA2000 compliant. Would like to convert the diagnostics connection/protocol to the ECM to a NMEA2000 connection in order to pull engine data into a NMEA2000 compliant Raymaine C80 display.

I know the technology exists, and this would prevent thousands of deaths and injuries, but auto makers would have to buy in, and errors at motor vehicle bureaus could result in drivers with a clean license being unable to drive for some time until the error was cleared up. Still, it seems to be a viable way to keep derelict drivers and substance abusers off the road.

I wanna be a Vehicle Mechanic and i would like to know if you think it's a good career?
I will be joining the Air Force as a vehicle mechanic for 4 years. So by the time i get out i'll have good experience. They will train me with both gas and diesel engines.

Do vehicle mechanics get paid good?
Is 4 years experience in the military with a diploma enough to get hired and get paid good money?

I would like to know about Auto Body Repairers too, i'll like to do that too. But which one would be better as a career. Body Repairer or Gas/Diesel Mechanic.??

I was thinking about Aircraft Mechanic before, but i just decided to be a Vehicle Mechanic. I hope i made a good decision.

A few weeks ago I came back to my car following a heavy rain and noticed that the roof of my Explorer was soaked and that water was dripping from just above my driver's side windshield visor. This had never happened before, and I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can figure out where the leak is coming from...it's not obvious like a big hole is in the roof, but I do have a sunroof. There are no visible leaks or problems with the sunroof and everything was closed at the time? Has anyone had this happened or does anyone know how a repair shop would possibly try to solve this problem? (ie: I know when you have a leak in a tire it can be submerged under water, but this can't be done for my entire car...or can it? lol....) Thanks for any help with my predicament.

Why run red lights, drive too fast, fail to yield to ambulances, not use turn signals...? Is there own need to get there fast more imporant than the safety others?

Some 50,000 people die in auto crashes every year in this country. Less than half due to drunk driving, so even allowing for some mechanical failures and weather, that still leaves a huge percentage of stupid inconsiderate jerks.

What is their motivation?

I have changed out the ecu, because it tested bad, now that's done,it still does the same thing...floods too much fuel into throttle body, and won't start...I believe it's the fuel pressure regulator, but there is a possibility of the injector being bad...so, if anyone who is mechanically inclined has had the same problem, or has more access to fuel diagrams for the car than whats given in a chilton repair manual...please hit me up with a viable solution...if your advice works...and gets this car running....I will send to you, your choice of a bikini, well some bikini...bike wash video...or some other pre-production video of some monster mudd trucks ripping it in the river valley...hook me up...and I'll certainly hook you up as well...hopefully we can help each other out....lordclawson@yahoo.com
