Pioneer by far. You'll get way more for your $$ and a better built radio. Parts & accesories are much easier to come by. They are also cooler looking with better features. Check out an IPod ready, color 3D organic electro-illuminescent displya, CD/MP3/WMA/WAV player with Dual motorized faces such as the DEH-P960MP:

i would go with pioneer i have had a sony head unit that flip down and all that good stuff when that got nicked i bought my self the pioneer head unit with the real big knob in the middle the sound quaility is much better you can do so much with the sound with pioneer sub control and all that stuff go with pioneer

I have sony but I think pioneer has better sound quality. Plus the cd changer is much faster when switching from one song to another

I would go with the Pioneer. Sony's quality has really gone downhill in the last few years.

go with pioneer i have one and most of my friends do and they are great. they cd player also ususally has more watts of power than a lot of others

for the money,i would buy a pioneer,they dont cost as much and they sound just good.it also depends what kind of speakers you have also.
