Below is a link to a house ... its a home video. What do you think? Should I buy it? Its sitting on 4 Acres of commercial/residential property ... probably would appraise for 130,000 --- buying for 45,000. The trim looks purple, but its actually a blue/grey. Rear of the house has now been finished repainting.

in some places real estate is going down in its down turn. will real estate always go down and stay flat?

doesnt real estate double every 10 years? so if ther average house is 500,000. in 10 years it will be almost a million? so in 5 years it will be 700,000? someone told me real estate ALWAYS has cyles, if it is going down now, it WILL go back up later. they said a real esate cyle is usualy 7 years. from top to bottom back to top, or bottom to top back to bottom. so in 5 years or more, real estate will be going up real high?

and someone said everytimg theres a boom, the next boom will always be higher than the last? so the last boom was in the early 2000's. so by the 2010 or later it will go up higher than the peak in the early 2000's?

if i buy 5 houses below value right now since prices are going down, andi n a buyers market for 500,000. can i look foward to selling them for 700,000 in 5 years from now when its a sellers market?

for california, los angeles

to me then she is entitled to the commission if I put in an offer.

Now I know that I will not sign anything unless I'm ready to put an offer.

My sister viewed the house with the host agent on a friday. And I went with my agent or our agent to the open house on saturday. Now, I planned to view the property with my sister on friday, but traffic delayed me.

The host agent said hello but did not asks us to sign in or anything. Later that day, I received a call from the host agent to see if I was going to come to the open house and told him that I came with an agent. He then proceeded to tell me that this will pose a problem and I told him that I did not sign anything and there should not be a problem. He quickly told me to only deal with him. I relayed that with the agent I've been working with a she quickly informed that I signed the disclosure agreement and that she was entitled to some of the commission. TBC...

I have Entomophobia ( fear of insects). How do I legally get out of my lease agreement with my apartment if it's roach infested.

Before you answer here are some facts:

A tenant in this building was recently evicted because her apt was infested badly. Now the roaches are spreading to other apts. Management had the entire building sprayed (my apt sprayed several times), but roaches are still here. The manager says she can have them bomb my apt, but I have 2 small children and don't want them exposed to chemicals. My Entomophobia has gotten so bad since living here that now I have to seek therapy (seriously...it's that bad). There was one in my kitchen and I had my mother come over ( she lives about 15 miles away) to kill it. It's truly a dibilatating fear. If the apts decide to not let me out of my lease, can I take legal actions?

For 2 furnished rooms with private bath and entrance in private home with the first months rent to be paid on moving in. I already spent the money and now have to advertise all over to find someone else for the first of July. They asked for the money back yesterday the 23rd of June, last week of the month when the deposit was given in cash on the 16th of June. Am I obligated to give money back??? I told them if and when I can rent unit again I will give them the money back, in all fairness, but because it is now summer in one week and all the kids are off school for summer, I fear I will now be too late to find someone else as most people already have the rental units found for the summer as I live in a small tourist town.

A longish story! (Thanks Shih Tzu Lady) Briefly...I had a verbal aggreement for my rent to be paid by standing order middle of month when got paid. Landlord, even tho' reminded them numerous times of payment date (advance paid up to and including this date) tried to take it beginning of month so incurring bank charges. Plus used valuable time sorting out in person at bank. Notified I wanted reimbursment (half incurred charges). Rent now being paid on time as to original agreement. But now threatening to evict if they don't get reimbursment back! Only half story cos whole thing a farce, ignored verbal, contractual agreements and tenancy regs. Quite annoyed and think I was very good only asking for half incurred charges. Offered 25% so really admitted liability. CAB visit out of question as can't get time off work! Thanks for your time and consideration.

My grandma put in deposit for an apartment, she was suppose to move in but the manager did not finish fixing the place so the move in date was push back. During that time, another complex for low incomes had a vacant apartment and gave her the offer. The rent was cheaper and the place was better so she decided to take this one instead. She did call and tell the manager of the place she deposit to rent the place out. Can she get back all or part of her deposits?

Just wondering if someone can walk me through the process and give very very rough estimates at what kind of expenses to expect.
