Is it possible for me to move out without being responsible for the remainder of the lease. I moved in only 3 months ago. I know of no one who will sublet it from me and the landlord doesn't seem too eager to rent it to someone else.

I am purchasing the home I live in, the seller has a real estate agent (TOM) , I used Charter Funding and my VA loan to get this house, I have been loan approved, passed apprasial, CF says we should close next week, NOW this tom guy says he has a closer that he is thinking about using instead of CF, my question is, has he lost his mind? Or should I tell the seller to ignore him (because I really think he's wanting more fee money).

Two individuals are remaindermen in a Life Estate as Joint Tenants with rights of Survivorship. My question first is, can one of the remaindermen deed their interest to a third party? If so, would that then considered a Tenancy in Common with the remainderman?

Situation: I have a new landlord (according to my old landlord) but I have gotten zero notices on this so I have no idea where to send my rent money. I just received an eviction notice. On the notice it still did not indicate what I owed. I called the person on the notice and was told that since I am not paying I need to leave. I asked if he could tell me who he is, how much he thinks I owe and when he wants the money. He talked around my questions and I know no more than when I picked up the phone. I sent this guy an email telling him I would leave if he gave me until the end of the month to find a place. He said he could but it would cost me. I asked how much. He won't tell me...like he's baiting me to tell him how much. I can't leave in the three days he wants me out. Should I wait and go to court over this? It sounds very suspicious.

3 siblings have a life estate with one parent for quite a few years. When life estate tenant passes away the siblings are owners? What is their cost basis if they sell the house? Is it the value of the house upon date of death or the original cost of the home plus improvements?

Can one do that with no intention at all to buy, but just to admire the beautiful homes? And if so, what does one say to the realtor or whomever is showing the house?

I am being told to move "yesterday" from my subsidized housing because when they ran my background check I have a posession charge. I was told when my probation was over (and I have JUMPED through every hoop since then) it would go off my record. I work at Arby's so DUH I can't afford anything else and risk being homeless. They told me I don't qualify for Welfare because I don't have any illegitimate kids. Any suggestions?

A girl from work is coming to stay with me for 6 weeks. She will have a double bedroom with all furnishings and linens, use of the broadband, use of our swimming pool and garden (Don't get too excited it is bloomi freezing in the pool). Plus I'm guessing she will eat with us too. What would be a reasonable weekly charge?

warm water and heating ??
Here are the facts...today 2 weeks ago, we have determined that our gasheater dont work and called the agent from our landlord. He told us that the plumber will come Monday and take care of this and he came but there were spareparts missing, so he ordered these and came back to repair it, then it turned out that another sparepart needs to be replaced too, so he ordered this one again and until today he didn´t showed up to repair it. We called the agent, we have to deal with and asked about some good will and if we can reduce the rent for theese 2 weeks, this is 3 days ago and we didn´t heard from him since then...I am very upsad of all that and I really would like to cut the rent...oh and of course I will move but I need some advice and assistance about that case...because I wanna teach him a lesson and want my right...legally

I thank you for all serious-meant answer and empirical values in advance

I am 15 years old and my father builds houses. My dad says if I can find a buyer and refer him to him, i will get a 2 percent cut. I know the house is worth about 2.5 mil to 3 so that would be a great deal of money. The house is modern and should sell. I do not want to spend any money on internet sites because i feel i could be cheated.

we are buying a home that appraised VA 5k below builders selling price. He would not budge at first. Then we found out that one of the comps that were used shouldn't have been since that was a destressed sell. Our lender told them to pick 2 new comps.( they got to choose them not the appraiser) after the lender looked at them she said that they did not help his cause and still justified the lower appraisal.

My husband and I own approx. 1.4 million in real estate investments. We had decided not to buy anything else; however, we now have the opportunity to purchase a single family home that is under preforclosure. The house is appraised at $456,000. It is being sold for $355,000. Should I buy it?

Relocating for a new job which is offerring a substantial sign on bonus and when combined with my new salary all the mortgage calculators say I can spend $2200/mo on housing and that I can be approved for a $150-250K mortgage. I pay $450/mo in consolidated student loan debt ($80K) and have 2 years left of a $352/mo car payment. I have excellent credit and no credit card debt. I'll be moving to an area I'm familiar with as I grew up in a town nearby. Should I buy now or rent for awhile first?
