Most of the people who are renting homes or rooms are asking for a lease of 3-months, 6-months or 12-months. But I need a place to stay for just one month, for which I am willing to pay the full rent for that month. Nobody is agreeing to rent the house to me, because I am going to move out after next month.

How can I convince them? Or, am I looking a the wrong place & wrong people?

I am looking to hear from people who got a rate lower than 6%- and what type of loan was it. I'm trying to buy my first home and any advise on how to get a good rate is appreciated. Thanks!

I was served a dispossessory warrant. I was one day late responding to the court to ask for a hearing because I misread the date as the 6th instead of the first. My attorney tried and failed with a motion to allow me a hearing. The home I am in was puchased by my sister with assets from my aunts estate while my Aunt was living.(My sister had power of attorney because of my aunt's state of dementia.) My aunt died almost one year ago. I was told by my sister the house I am in was my share of my aunt's estate. Now some Irregularities have come to light over how my sister mishandled the estate and I am being evicted because I spoke up. The house is still in my sisters name. I have been given 2 weeks to get out or have the sheriff remove my possessions. If anyone has a suggestion on how to stop the eviction I would be grateful,as I am very afraid at this point

I've seen the commercials and I want to actually try it out if it isn't illegal of course. I mean the buying of government repossesed houses and property and paying off the tax they owe. Then repairing them and selling them back. How does this work? Thanks!

I am fine with most of the charges - the reletting fee, and reimbursement of discounts and concessions. The part I am concerned about is that they are trying to charge me 60 days worth of market rent, which totals nearly $2k. Can they charge me for rent when they will most likely already have someone else living here??

After sold the condomenium, the title company wires the balance which incl. 2nd loan (bank line of credit which they forget to paid) to the seller. If the seller decided to keep it, will this enough for escrow company or title company to file criminal charge against the seller? or just civil charge?

I want to buy a house, and I received a preapproved
letter of credit from BOFA for 50,000 with a monthly payment of
735.00 for 96 months and a rate of 7.99% APR (there is
also a 3% transaction fee) . do you think is this a
good idea to put this money for a house down payment as opposed to do 80/20 mortgage with no down payment with the first being 7.00 and the second mortage being 8.99 APR?? will that make sense???? will my score (773, 745. 698) go lower if i do this and maybe my APR will be higher????

After 5 months of reporting the water leak, broken dishwasher, useless stove, and leaking ceiling, and no responses from apts. i decided to call the city. They came, inspected, and got the apartments right on it. It was fixed the following day. The next day i recieved a "lock out notice" because of some late charges that dated 3 or 4 months previous. The manager was claiming it was rent. So anyways she made our lives a nightmare...........okay to make a long story short she filed eviction, and when i went to court she didnt show up so the judge dismissed the case. Can she go back and sue me again for the late charges? Or what happens now?

We've been trying to resign our lease since March and our management company keeps blowing us off. We originally received two copies to sign with only two of the three tenants. They keep telling us to just write in the third name on one of the copies and put both signatures on it. Does that deem it void? I feel like they should type that in themselves, make it official, and then have us each sign our own copy (as they did originally).
