I wanna buy something but I need a credit card which I dont have. So could I go to the mall and buy a visa gift card and use it as if it were a regular card online?

O and is the product test panel a scam thing?

I'm a little confused about the billing cycle of my credit card. I don't use my credit card very often, so I think that's why I'm a little confused. My account is set up for my credit card payments to be due on the 7th of every month of the billing cycle. I know the billing cycle is about a month, but I still don't understand it very well. For example, I made a purchase on the 17th of January and another on the 19th of January. That was it. My statement came out and said that my payment for my purchases was not due until the 7th of March. Isn't that longer than a month's time between my purchases and my statement? I paid my balance in full on February 21st. Then, I made another purchase on February 28th, and I am wanting to make another purchase, but if I do does that mean my payment for both purchases will be due on the 7th of April or the 7th of May? If anyone can understand my question (I know it might be confusing), PLEASE help!! Thank you!!

I'm not a genius when it comes to financial stuff so my dad handles all of it. Hes getting a Platinum Visa(r) credit card, on the application theres a optional section where he can add a second card. How does this process go about? If he were to add my name (for the second card) does that entitle me to being on his account without all my info like SSN etc? It says that it would make me a authorized user of his account and he would be responsible for all my transactions & charges. So whats it all mean? (((just to make sure, its clear but you can never be too sure about cards)))

OK, here goes...my husband and I have made a couple of BIG financial mistakes. The biggest one is that we bought a company with no reserve in the bank. As a result, we have lived off of credit (stupid, stupid, stupid). Work has taken a lot longer to pick up than was anticipated. We have 4 houses that are leased- 2 of them have payments that don't even cover the mortgage. We have a home with a 1st and 2nd mortgage, a car that we owe $8000 on that is worth $9000 and needs $1500 worth of work. We have a business loan of $250000, $80000 in unsecured debt, and cobra coverage that ends in 2 months. There is now a lot of work but $20000/ month doesn't cover everything. We have 4 small children- two which are 3 month old twins. I'm so tired and stressed! I've read up on bankruptcy, credit counseling, and debt consolidation...what else is there? I'm desperate.

I have 4 credit cards all are clean no outstanding balance at all . I'm about to purchase a plane ticket so I would use 1 of my credit card when payment is due I will pay it with another credit card until I use the 4th card (I know I won't incur interest on it since I'm paying it on time) .Sort of delaying it for 4 months & paying it full on the 5th month using my checking account . Is this possible & ok ?

I live in Illinois where the statute of limitation is 10 years for written accounts and 5 years for open-ended accounts. Which one do credit card debts fall under?

My score dramatically fell from something like 660 to 550, but I am not sure what caused the dramatic drop.

Basic Info:
I opened 1 new credit card with low limit
I was 30 days late on 2 items (for the first time)
I was over my credit limit by 100 on one of those items (all fees)
I was deliquent 2 months by around $60 on 1 item (first time)
I had 19 inquiries in past 12 months (Had been looking for a car, so 1 was car, couple others)

NO items in collections or public records..ever.

So what has hurt my credit the worst? I thought being 30 days late would not have so severe an impact.

This month I resolved everything. It looked like though that the delinquency was hurting me the worst.

My sister-in-law has run up $70,000 in credit card debt. My brother can't stop her. She hides the bills or has them mailed to her place of employment. Their credit is ruined as she pays late. They've refinanced their home at least twice. My brother is about to give up hope as he works overtime and still can't get ahead. She denies she has a spending problem and accuses my brother of not earning enough. He sought debt counseling and took care of his own finances years ago. Is there a way he can get the credit card companies to stop allowing her to run up more charges? They're not divorced but sometimes I wish he would divorce her.

My student loans (I double checked and his name is NOWHERE on anything that has to do with my student loans), and another debt that I incurred before I was married are showing on my husband's credit report. Why is that?

I have $140 montly due for my student loan, I want to pay the $1680 once a year insted of remembering to write a check (or worry about what is in my bank account if i set it up to withdraw automatically. I also want to pay off my car loan early to decrease the amount of interest I'm paying in the end, but I don't want that to drag down my credit score and then make it hard to buy bigger things later, like a house.
