visa gift card as good as regular card?

I wanna buy something but I need a credit card which I dont have. So could I go to the mall and buy a visa gift card and use it as if it were a regular card online?

O and is the product test panel a scam thing?

You can generally use the Visa or Mastercard gift cards just you would a regular credit card.

To be safe always read the fine print before purchase.
