previous bank then later filed bankruptcy ,whats the range on the chexsystem ,should i leave town,?????any help would be great.

They have a fantastic free database of banks that do not pull Chex when you open an account.

Your in the chexsystems for 5 years. However, because of the backlash and problems several major banks are starting to ignore anything more than a couple of years old as long as they are settled(paid).

Try online banking at any bank like BOA or WAMU
