This may seem like a silly question, but I was wondering if anything would happen with the deficit and the national debt.

The way it shows up is:

Activecoll
Acct: ****06
Metrocall

I looked for metrocall and they are out of business. I've searched for Activecoll online and there is nothing. Can anyone help me get in contact with this company? I need to pay this thing off for a securities license.

I would think that you could pull up bankruptcy papers through the internet for free instead of somebody wanting to charge you money for something that you should have access to.

I have 4 credit cards (limits are 1000, 3300, and two 500s) and was considering getting rid of one 500 credit card. Should I pay the whole thing off and KEEP it or GET RID of it??

the other # is off by one digit from my number. What does this mean? Do they think I have 2 SS#'s? I don't know if it could be a typo or another persons # on my report. Why would it be there? Do I just write a letter of dispute for that or should I make sure nothing on my report is from that "persons" # first?

Since October 2006, I have recieved $700 in overdraft fees which makes my account balance -643.00 today. I contacted them, and they gave me a $43 credit, but that is nothing compared to the money they have already recieved in overdraft (around $1600.00) last year. I know that I manipulate the fees, but most were legitimate oversights and when they fee was given, my account was overdrawn by less than a dollar.. How can I get them to reduce the fees signifacantly enough to reduce my total debt?

I got a phone call today stating that I have 30 minuts to pay off an old debt(over 6 years ago) or they will garnish my taxes for over 3000.00
They offered to let it slide for about 850.00 if I could pay it off now.
Should I believe them?
I didnt even know that piticular debt existed thanks to my ex using my credit cards The guy on the phone seemed to know so much about me already like what cards I used to have and my birthday.
I did not give him any info
What should I do or what should I have done?

Is it posible to pay with a money order?

2007-01-24 08:47:32 · 9 answers · asked by Anonymous

currently I need an extra $5,000 to buy a car from a private seller.
How would I go to doing this? I've never took out a loan before so I'm not sure of the procedure. I just need the money temporaily and hopefully when I get my taxes back I'll be able to pay a decent amount of it back.
I can't seem to find a site that would give me $5,000 for a 12 month payment period. I don't like to have a long payment period. Any help is appreciated

On Dec 14th I made a huge payment spread through all my credit cards reducing most to $0 and leaving low balances on the rest ($20,000 paid towards revolving credit of $30,000). How long before it is reflected in my credit score? It's been over a month and I don't see any change.
