I am in way over my head and need any help someone may have. I am 23 with a lot of debt. Bankrupt is not an option and I just lost my job so a consolidating company is no use. I have been considering active duty in the military since I was thinking about the reserves before. I am in a city with a poor economy and a good job is as hard to find as a honest politician. I have obviously not made the smartest financial decision in the past but I will do whatever it takes to eliminate my problem. Thank you anyone who posts a helpful response.

Is there a mortgage company that will refinance at 100% LTV with a low credit score? The mortgage history only shows (1) 30 day late in the life of the mortgage (just over 2 years).....also, I am trying to do a cash out option to consolidate a few other bills and do some home renovations. This still would not make the total loan exceed the value of the property...but with this cost and closing costs...we'd be real close to what we anticipate the appraisal to be. Therefore, we need 100% re-financing. I would really appreciate serious answers...We got stuck with a house that we had sold on land contract with a 5 year balloon,.....we were 3 years into the contract and they abandon the house leaving us with a REAL mess and property taxes unpaid......we don't have the immediate resources to fix it up...but have no choice but to move back into it to keep it from going into foreclosure...Thanks for all your help!!!

I pulled my credit through creditreport.com and my middle score was 575. I went and applied for a mortgage and when they pulled my credit it came from "Credit Plus, Inc." and the scores were WAY lower. My middle one was down to 544. Why did I get a different score than the mortgage company??? I had a little cleaning up to do that would have brought me up to about a 620 according to my score, but only up to a 600 according to their score. (This makes a huge difference in my interest rate). Any answers???

thank you in advance! :)

When I was checking my credit report, it says that I took out a mortgage in February of 2002 and asks for some information about it in order to verify that it is my report.

Problem is, I have never taken out a mortgage...ever. Is it possible that this is a trick question as on all of the questions there is a none of the above response? Has anyone else heard of or had this problem?

I have heard that if you check your credit report that it could in turn hurt your credit. Is this true, or do you have to check it multiple times for it to do 'damage?'

Also, do you know of any credible places that you can check your credit report at no charge? I know that you should be able to check it through your bank, but I want to say that mine charges? I haven't looked into enough to know for sure...

Thanks!

My sister was adding to my account incorrectly. We only wanted to link our accounts not have a joint account. She's in school and her identity was stolen and credit cards were placed in her name. The credit card co. got a judgment and garnish my account because her name was attached and wipe out my bank account. I have direct deposit and they took my entire paycheck. I just want to know what I should do and if their actions are legal.

If someone has been at a sales job building up clients and in the process bills and credit were an issue because lack of commissions, once that person is on their feet and paying things on time again, how long would a bank need to see steady payment history before letting that person refinance?

I have always paid cash for cars before, and now I want, rather need to finance a car. What do finance companies look for in your credit in deciding if you are a worthy lender and how much interest to charge? It's my fiance and I, and we both have great jobs, but have never financed a car before.

I've had a credit card that *IS* reporting all my account activity (which is all positive) with a nice limit. Yes, I have spent and paid on the account, so it does have monthly activity.

I also share a bank account with my fiancee.

I've had this card for 6 months and I know they are reporting my transactions because it is showing up on my credit report.

HOWEVER, I still don't have a credit score!! It's at 0, and I don't know why. Does anyone know why it would be like this?

I haven't moved or changed my name.. or ANYTHING that would effect it.
