Go to a check cashing place like Money Tree. They'll charge you a fee to do it but they'll cash it.

Either the bank that issued the cashiers check or a currency exchange or check cashing place. They will charge you a small fee. You really should open an account somewhere.

go cash it at the bank it's drawn on. if that's not convenient, go to a check cashing place. you can probably find several in the phone book. There are substantial fees assessed.
Why not open your on account? Checking or a savings? most banks/credit unions offer free checking. most likely though, the bank will place a "hold" on the funds. They are required to allow $100 cash back on the deposit.

At a place that cashes checks. Usually a grocery store will do it if it's under so much money. There are also places like pawn shops that cash checks, mostly in lower income areas. You might also try a loan store, I believe they cash checks too. Make some calls and see.

First try a bank. Other than that you may have to pay a check cashing service.
