I used to work for citigroup and they sent me a letter saying they overpaid me by 1200 and need payment from me. I know this cant be true and I think the company messed up. They said it is being handled by "recovery services" for collection of payment. I called them and they said they would look into it, what do i do if they say i do owe the money? What are my options and how will it effect my credit score?

I am trying to rebuild my credit and I have an idea but I don't know if it will work. If I open up a personal loan for like 100-200$ and then keep the money they give me and pay it all off the next month with that plus a couple bucks interest, will that help me out at all? What about if it is a joint account, will it help out both parties' credit or just one? Thanks!

take the money and run or let them know? Does the company have any recourse to reclaim their money if they find the mistake? Think about how much money you're giving the card companies before you answer.

I'm 19 and live in ontario canada. I just did a credit rating from TransUnion. My credit rating is 692. It said I have never missed a payment on anything.

My question is, how good is this rating? What is a poor/good/excellent score?
