No. Good deeds are entirely different. This would be an ill deed - you will benefit the most by learning the hard lesson of making your own way in the world.

Because if I were to pay off this debt, which - you say - would raise your credit score, then you would only be positioning yourself to borrow MORE money.

Gladly ... if you will pay mine. But, for such a low amount why not consider increasing your income or decreasing your expenses and pay it off yourself??? After all, it's only $750.
